- F-Gas: leak checks and the equipment record
EU Regulation 517/2014 sets obligations for the operator of the equipment - the company that owns or controls it - not for the company that maintains it. The obligations depend on the refrigerant charge, expressed in tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
- Documenting maintenance: what inspections ask for
What is asked for in practice is not a particular form but that you can show three things: what equipment you have, when it was last maintained, and who did the work. A file that answers those three stands up to any inspection.

The cost of an unmaintained unit is not the electricity bill. There are four components, and the largest in most companies is the third: business interruption on a peak day.
