Air conditioner maintenance for shops and retail spaces
In a shop the unit runs for as long as you are open, ten to twelve hours a day, and the door opens constantly. Street dust comes straight in and reaches the evaporator. The realistic interval is six to nine months.

Why units load up here
A permanently opening door means the unit works against the outside air and pulls in everything from the street. In ground-floor shops on main roads, the evaporator loads visibly in under a year. When the unit fails in August the shop cannot close, so the call-out becomes urgent and expensive.
The recommended schedule
Two interventions a year, scheduled outside opening hours or on low-traffic days, plus filter cleaning every two to three months. For multiple locations, the schedule covers the whole chain, one day per area.
The specific risk
The specific risk: business interruption. When a unit fails in high season, the cost is not the repair but the day of lost sales or the customers who leave. A contract with priority call-out exists exactly for that.
