Why units load up here
A unit that smells in a hotel room becomes a bad review, and a bad review costs more than ten sanitizings. On top of that, room units are used intensively and briefly, with frequent starts and stops, which leaves the evaporator damp for longer than continuous running does.
The recommended schedule
One full sanitizing a year for every room, scheduled off-season and staggered across groups of rooms, plus a check before the peak season. Common areas - reception, restaurant, conference room - follow their own, denser schedule.
The specific risk
The specific risk: rarely occupied rooms, where the unit sits off for weeks and then starts up with an already damp and loaded evaporator. That is where the smell is strongest, and it appears with the first guest after the break.
What you receive
